Christmas '08 get-together
ARES members met December 6 for a Holiday "get-together" at the Olympic Restaurant on West Market St.near Colfax. Great attendance and it was good food and fellowship.
Field Day Activities June 28 & 29, 2008

Activities at Hagan-Stone Park sponsored by ARES
Red Cross Volunteers supplied the meal for Saturday and received a tour of a station.
Kelli Joyce, KI4LRS and Ernie Wall, NC4EW, make contacts.
Dave Collins, KE4IAF and Matt Towe, KG4ZGZ get the rigs working.
Taking it easy after a fine prepared meal by the Red Cross.

A.R.E.S. ANTENNA
BUILD PARTY - JANUARY 12

An antenna build party was held January 12 with about 18 ARES members participating. The group constructed the WB2HOL Tape Measure Antennas. At left, Jesse Lindley, N4BFD, front; Rudy Langley, KG4HCT and Mike Kane, N4MJK on the right, contruct their antennas. After the contruction was finished John Standberg, AJ4BT provided a BBQ lunch. Thanks also to John, AJ4BT, for hosting the event at his office.
