AN A.R.E.S MEETING
Meetings
for the Guilford County ARES are held the First Monday of every
month at 7:00pm at the Guilford County Emergency Services Building
Large Training Room.
•
Meetings are filled with:
- Training
Topics relating to Amateur Radio Operations, Public Safety issues,
etc.
- Emergency
Drills and Simulations
- Administrative
announcements and coordination
Directions:
From the intersection of Interstate 40 and 220, take I-40 west to
the fourth exit, which is Wendover Avenue. Take Wendover Avenue
east to the second traffic light, which will have only one street
(Meadowood Street) off to the left (to the right will be Costco).
Turn left onto Meadowood Drive, then take the second driveway on
your left. Park in the rear parking lot, beyond the gas pumps on
left side. The entrance to the large training room is directly across
from the Gas Pumps, and to the left of the EMS Bay Doors.
